The Life Cycle of a .BH Domain Name

.BH is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) in the domain name system (DNS) for Bahrain. The life cycle of the .BH domain is based on a standard domain name life cycle .BH domain can be registered for anywhere between 1 to 5 years. The initial creation of the domain name will transition through various events and have a different status on each part of this lifecycle. The Bahrain Registry domain names follow the standard gTLD lifecycle that relies on five stages, including:

1. Availability
2. Registration
3. Expiration (24 hrs) / grace period (0-45 days)
4. Redemption (30 days)
5. Deletion (0-5 days)

Until the grace period, the user can renew their domain with no extra charges, but after the grace period, the users should pay BHD 25 as the redemption fee to get back the domain.
