Cookie Policy

The Cookie Policy is a part of the Privacy Policy between AEserver and its customers and visitors of its websites ("Users").

I. Characterization of Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored in a designated file on Users' device and contain certain data on Users' preferences on AEserver's websites and other information that helps AEserver to enhance their browsing experience. There are two types of cookies: The 'session cookies' are erased immediately after the end of the Users' browsing session. The 'persistent cookies' are not deleted when the Users quit their browser, rather they will be stored on their device for a fixed period of time. In that way, the Users' preferences will be saved for their next visit. These cookies are not used to store any personal information. Thus, cookies used by AEserver cannot track any personal information or identify an individual user.

II. Use of Cookies

Cookies are used to identify Users' devices and browsing preferences and provide features for a more user-friendly and personalized browsing experience, such as an easier navigation on AEserver's websites. In other words, cookies use the stored information to tailor the operation of the Web application to Users' preferences. Hence, they ensure that a Web application can respond to each User as an individual.

By using AEserver's websites the Users consent to the storage and use of cookies as mentioned in the currently valid Cookie Policy/ Privacy Policy. However, in the event that the Users do not wish cookies to be used, they can disable those. In general web browsers provide the option to control the use of cookies. Therefore, the Users may follow the instructions of the respective browser. Furthermore, they can delete the stored cookies from their device manually. The Users should be aware that after disabling the use of cookies, the performance of AEserver's websites will change. Some portions of the respective websites may not function properly and the web experience may be impaired.
